Instructions should have been given to you during your PDI.

on our 2018 29 mvp it's located behind metal vent cover under stove in kitchen. You have to remove 4 screws holding the metal vent cover in place and then you will see the valves.

I know this because one of mine was not turned correctly and on our first trip out we didn't have very hot water. I immediately looked for the valves and found my problem.

Find your water heater on the outside, then go inside and look for a removable panel. That is usually where they are located. It could be in the side of a cabinet.

Ditto with my last camper, but I had to take a complete cabinet apart to find the thing. It was not addressed in the PDI and I didn’t know enough about it to ask back in those days.

Please note that the temperature is set at the factory and cannot be changed manually at the W/H itself but that doesn't stop you from making your own adjustment.
This by pass valve your looking for is your saving grace so by playing with it a little your able to introduce a little cold water to lower it so your not scalded. It's especially beneficial if you have small kids in the household .

Got it

That’s where it was. Thanks everyone. I have hot water and thanks for the tip on using the shutoff valve to cool it a little

Most RV’s have a fake drawer accessible from the inside, near the water heater. Bypass valves should be there. Mine has a door that opens to access the water heater from the inside, I suppose some may have a removable panel. Locate your water heater vent on the outside, then see what is on the inside right behind that.
