Where to locate surge protector in Melbourne 24K?

I am thinking about installing internal surge protector - EMS-HW30C. Where is the best location to install? I do not relish taking the RV apart to figure that out. The fuse panel is under the rear bed. There is also a boxed space approximately where the power enters the RV.

My panel is also under the bed so that was an easy location to cut the cable and mount the EMS, simple less than 30 minute job

If I was going to hardwire one in I would either do under the bed or in the pass through compartment on the rear wall on the other side of the 30amp inlet. Either way I think you will need a short piece of wire unless yours has a remote status display. If that is the case under the bed would be my choice.

how do you remove the bed panels to access that slot? I found plywood under the top nice paneling, but the slide is on top of that.
