wifi thermometer

i read in a previous post that used a wifi thermometer. what make and model did you use? thankyou

I got mine on Ebay. I think what determines the type you get is what the display looks like and how you mount it. Many choices.

Question for anyone who is considering using a wifi thermostat in their RV. What wifi network are you planning to use for connectivity? I can't see the practicality of having one in my camper without a constant, stable wifi source. I understand a Hotspot device but that seems cost prohibitive to me. I'm just curious what others are thinking.

Whelp - one of my Raspberry Pi's is set up with two network interfaces. One creates a wireless network access point and the other is a bridge to a hotspot or campground WiFi.


Solves the problem of having to reset wifi connections on everything.
