Window Blinds

Does anyone know how to adjust the spring return pull down style window blinds? I have one that is bound up. I cannot move the blind by pulling down on it or manually rolling it up. There appears to be two adjustable “nuts” on either end, one black and one grey. Thanks

One of the adjustment “nuts” adjusts the shade as to how far it will retract, while the other one adjusts the tension and how fast it will retract. I hope this helps your situation.

I had similar problem. Ended up disassembling entire roller and using pliers to loosen the height retract end. Decided we probably let the shade up too fast and jammed against the stop.

Thanks to your both. I'll give it a shot to play with each of the nuts and figure out how to loosen the tension.

I too think I let it run up too quick and probably bound the spring. Hopefully it is not a huge ordeal to correct.

What year is your coach? Is it still under warranty, because if so, Jayco will send you another blind. I have had them do this for me in the past for one of mine that would not catch and stay down in any position.

gprapim, Its a 2017, still under warranty. I don't think its broke, I think I abused it. If I need a new one, I'll ask them. Thanks for the tip!

UPDATE: Fixed. Adjusted the nuts a little, gave a harder than previously attempted tug and all is back to normal. Adjusted the tension and length nuts back to approximately factory settings. Thanks all.
