Question Winter tire poll!

Who puts winter tires on their Motorhome or tow vehicle?

I think you're missing a category that I'm sure the majority of us will fall into as questioned by the precious poster- "No. I use my MH/TV during winter without changing over to winter tires.".

And how about a category for the small percentage that do this- "No, but I carry emergency chains or some other traction aid(s)."?

...Just a thought.

yes I change to snows on all 4 wheels. we towed in a snow storm last week but snow wasn't accumulating on the road really. this weekend heading to Yellowstone I was planning to put the snows on for that trip. it is snowing out right now so its time. we do go camping in the winter so for us it is a worthwhile thing to do.

My tow vehicle is my daily driver and I would rather put studded tires on it than ever put on chains . That is just me I hate tire chains carry them, use them when I have to but I hate chains.

Good idea! I don't know how to edit a poll however I agree adding those additional categories would be helpful. If any mods want to tell me how to edit the poll I would appreciate it.

Simple, if ice and snow, I don't go. Any place I go in the winter, if it does snow or freezing rain it should clear up in a couple of days at the most. So I will sit and wait, have another cup of coffee or two. I am not in a hurry.
