Winter Washing

How do you guy’s that live in cold country wash your motorhomes during the winter. Here in Florida we have a hard time finding good days to wash a motorhome, it’s either rainy or cold & windy. Winter time sun is not as available as you might think.....

Wash? Snow keeps it pretty clean.

We would wash if it would stay above freezing.. Otherwise everything that opens does not. FL at least you can dress for above freezing. Cold is relative. 40 is warm.

Kinda very hard to wash when they are under an ADDCO Winter Cover!
Be careful with Truck Washes. I had a Truck wash remove a decal on my other trailer. Too much pressure.

X2 - also be careful with your Fridge, furnace and water heater vents! I've seen the folks doing the washing directing high pressure spray right into the vents - soaking the entire insides of these appliances - costly to replace the main-board on your furnace or fridge.

We were just in Orlando over the holidays.
It dropped to the high 50's and out came the down jackets.

On the flip side, it hit 90 and I thought I was going to pass out while the locals seemed relieved!

When it hits 40 degrees up nort, the hoses come out and the shorts go on - time to wash da truck! Before selling the sticks n bricks and going full time, wasn’t unusual for me to wash it in the garage.

I grew up in WI.

There was an early DIY Spray It Yourself carwash in Waukegan that was indoors. Genius. Place was packed every winter day.
