2018 Starcraft Satellite 18DS TT

I am BRAND NEW to RVing and to this forum.

I am looking to purchase an all-season TT with AC, heat, bathroom . . . GVWR 7500 . . . would like to pay less than $20,000

I found a NEW 2018 Starcraft Satellite 18DS with their "extreme package" . . . have been reading "mixed" reviews . . . can anyone help me with this?

I have also been considering a Casita . . . any experience with this TT?

Thank you!

Welcome to the forum.

I have nothing regarding those trailers, sorry.

It appears you plan to live in it year-round. Do you know where you'll be and what you expect for both the summers and winters?

2018 Starcraft Satellite 18DS TT

I won't be lining in it full-time . . . maybe a week every month.

Going up the Pacific Coast (from San Diego, north), Southern Utah, Grand Canyon.

I dont know anything about that trailer, but I see the MSRP is about $22,000, most dealers will discount that price 25-30% so a good deal would be about $15,000 plus tax, delivery fee, and what ever garbage fees the dealer tries to charge.

Welcome to RVing, and to the forum. As with any consumer item youll get mixed reviews. Here you can be as specific as you want, and the more info you provide the more you canexpect to get. Things like staying in full hook up sites vs boondocking - or no hook ups. The lingo can be strange til you get used to it, and many will assist you, sometimes more than you want, but with good intentions. The specific model you seek is like most, offers a variety of options for the casual use. More use of an rvrequires paying close attention to the systems within while you learn how to make it work for you.

Happy camping, and report back on what you learn as others will benefit from it.
