Awning issue

We have a 2013 StarCraft AR-one 17 RD. The power awning goes out fine but comes in really slow. I have a new battery installed but no difference . Any ideas what to check next? Thanks

Possibly a lubrication issue…have you lubed all the pivot points? Does it have a gas shock…could be worn out. If it goes out OK it’s probably not a power issue, with the exception os a possible bad motor.

Ok I’ll check that. We just purchased this and so far this is the only issue. Thanks

Does it make any difference if it’s plugged into shore power versus just battery power?

It seems quieter and a little faster on battery only. I think the noise may of been inside the rv. Maybe the inverter? Motor is quiet on the awning.
