RV sewer hose gets a new home
I did this simple mod yesterday. Simple and effective. It took about 2 hours to accomplish.

Very nice job!
Just curious though, why not store the hose inside your rear bumper?

It's a toy hauler, and does not have a traditional RV rear bumper. The heavy duty frame at the rear is where the hinged ramp attaches.
Thanks for the compliment.

Simple and effective, well done, and thanks for the low down camera angles showing the mounting clearly.

JJaxon, what did you use for the slide out that the hose sits in? Thanks.

It is a 4" pvc gutter. All of the parts and pieces were bought at Lowes. Not all Lowes carry this type, or shaped gutter. I shopped on their web site to find the store that had em in stock then went there. The end pieces i made out of scrap wood i had laying around. I sealed the ends with caulk. I will add a knob or handle to make the pull open easier on the outer cap.

Real nice! Simple and effective. Looks much easier in and out with the hoses too. May just do it on mine because it would be so much easier than into the 4” bumper with 4” fittings that don’t fit in.
Btw great video thanks.

I have the same setup as in the video but without the end caps. That way, I can use the gutter as a hose support.

That’s nice. I used a 6” pvc pipe and two screw caps on my rear bumper. I had the hose and adapter in a plastic bin. We hard to store it. We need all the space we can get.

I used a 5”x5”x8’ square vinyl fence post with end caps. Fits all my hose and fittings.

Very nice job. I keep considering doing this on my TT. Great video, thanks for the detail.
