Telluride 251RES

Well we've moved from Jayco TT 264BHW to StarCraft Telluride 251RES 5th wheel. A real change!!
This is a nicer unit that I imagined for the $s. But we had NO walk around as was delivered by couple older men without knowledge of any of the campers. So first found out hot water heater was sending just bit of hot water, problem valve was open on back of heater open that shouldn't have been. Had to unscrew basement panel and bend around hatch opening latch to see (very awkward design) and dealer repair shop didn't have any knowledge regarding this unit so took some time to figure out how to get to heater... 2nd awning arm not adjusted to seats properly when retracted, this caused awning to separate from camper at that end, dealer repair shop adjusted arm and reattached awning with multiple additional screws, and order parts for arm which has slight bend (won't seat properly yet).
Other then that only other problems are with me and learning to deal with new way to handle the 5th wheel hookup/disconnect) seems not as easy as thought... (Curt 20K hitch with slide rails)
What I appreciate a lot is towing this 5th wheel in windy conditions which is much better then TT we had (about same length both units). Gas mileage appears to be bit better now, so additional 3k pounds not an determent.

Congratulations on the StarCraft! The 5ers are different, but you'll be a pro in no time. My FIL had three 5ers, and hooked/unhooked quicker than we could with our TT. He'd have an adult beverage opened, while we were still setting up!
