TV tires?

The stock goodyear that came on my Ram 2500 only lasted 30,000 miles. My wife is on 77,000 miles in a 2012 Ford Edge with Michelin tires. I just put a set of Michelin's on my truck with a 50,000 mile guarantee. Michelin Defender LT275/70R18. Running 65 psi in the front and 80 psi in the rear. Balanced and rotated every 5,000 miles. Time will tell.

I had Firestone Transforce A/Ts on my 2002 Dodge 3/4 ton 2WD for the past 7 years and have about 40K miles on them with plenty of tread left. So tire wear has not been a problem. However at 7 years old, they had some cracking on the sidewalls. I just had Michelin Defenders put on. Only had the Michelins for a day, but the ride home was definitely smoother and quieter and that was with the rears at 80 lbs pressure. I'm going to put the rear pressure down to 45 lbs until I start towing again in May. I hope they are as good as everyone says they are. They were certainly as expensive as everyone said they would be!
