Water damage to bunk, repair and rebuild - DIY

In another post I started to investigate the water damage and delam on the front bunk of my Toy Hauler Hybrid.

This repair cost me around $400. and 4 very long days of labor. I should not have to deal with this again. Water is not a friend of slanted front RV. I did add some weight to the front, but not significant enough for my tow vehicle.

Did you ever figure out the source of the water leak that caused the problem in the first place? I am developing the same problem with my Starcraft, and I'd like to fix any leaks before I end up doing the same thing you did. Thanks in advance!
