I've had an UnderCover Classic on a Tacoma for about five years. It is completely watertight. Have had no issues with it at all.

When I bought my F-250 with only 4,500 miles it came with the Trifecta. The only problem is the hinge cracked making it hard to get a good straight seal without overlapping, after folding. I bought a replacement hinge but haven’t had time to try and replace it yet.
During the spring & summer I remove it to put on my ladder rack (used for hauling kayaks) but it’s about time to put it back on. Have never noticed any leakage!

I have had two Retrax (Pro model) covers and they have been great and haven't had any leaking issues. They are expensive, but a great bed cover.

I know tonneau covers leak, but there has to be something better than ours.
Hi you can't go wrong with the truxedo lo pro or the back flip mx4. Regardless Look for one that you don't have to open the back flip to close the tailgate. The older styles the most people don't open the back flip when they close the tailgate and the seals jam up

Good luck

I'm on my 2nd Trifecta. First on was on my 2007 Tacoma that I just traded a few months ago. Tonneau was on there for 10 years! Not garaged so it was exposed to New England weather non stop. It still looked great when I traded. A little wear and slight tiny cracking on the edges, but pretty good for 10 years out in the elements.

I bought another for my 2017 Silverado.

I'll put my Truck Covers USA cover up against anything. Def not the cheapest cover out there, but in my experience, 9 out of 10 times you get what you pay for!

Yet another happy Truxedo soft tonneau cover customer here.

We have a combination 50gal fuel tank/tool box at the front of our long bed and needed a cover that would clear that. There were varieties of hard covers that might have worked, but we wanted something that we believed would clear to minimize the hassles of returning one if we were wrong.

There is some infrequent rain water in the bed that seems to get in under the tonneau rails, but the fabric itself seems waterproof. Stuff in the bed - generator, ladder, storage tubs, etc. - stays quite clean and dry and is 'out of sight, out of mind' secure.

Soft cover for me.

Had an Access cover for 14 yrs and except for the hole I put it in with my torch it held up great. Just got the Access Tonnosport for the new truck, not as expensive as the first one so here's hoping it last's almost as long. Larry

Access Vanish here.

I've had one on the last four trucks I've owned and it is what I have on my current two trucks. The one on my Tacoma is almost years old and still in perfect shape.

They are super tough and keeps the stuff in my bed dry, plus I really like the low profile look of them.

Extang trifecta, on a 2015 Tundra, never leaks, as good today as when it was first installed 2 years ago. Very happy.

I've had Tonnopro Trifold, Tonnopro low roll, and now I have the vanish. I like the vanish the best out of all.

I am still noodlin' this. I have not ruled out a shell. All of the tonneau covers have their pros and cons. I really do not want any more water leaking in the bed, and I do not want to fuss with rolling up a cover or having to open the tailgate to open the cover. I also do not want to spend nearly a grand on the thing like I did the current piece of junk that I have on the TV. If I go with a tonneau, I think I will keep it at or under $500. Once they get up in the grand territory, I start thinking shell. We have a longed, so most of the "inexpensive" covers run $450-$550.
