You may try to re sync the monitor to the camera.

I forgot exactly how to do it I know you have to take the camera off plug it and the monitor into the power adapter in the truck and hit a button. There are u tube videos on how to do it.

Thought that was kind of odd too. I installed ours and did the plug into power supply and synch it that way. Always odd to have that other plug just hanging there.

Yeah I agree, also the way they wire it. Truck lights have to be on to get a signal, but the camera has more functions available that are now unavailable due to the way they wire it. It's an expensive camera not to be able to use all the functions.

You shouldn't have to remove it to pair it. When I got my Jayco, they did not have the monitor for it even though it had the camera, but I had the one I installed on my Wildcat trade. The guy paired it from my truck to the Jayco, probably 35-40 feet away.

There's two ways to wire the camera. You can wire it to a switch in the bedroom which does not require the truck lights to be on for it to operate. You can plug the monitor into the 12v plug in the bedroom and use it as a security camera. Here are the alternate wiring instructions:

My monitor has a connection coming out of it and you must attach the camera to it to pair it. Just took a minute but was a pita having to remove the camera only because I hate heights!

Interesting, must be different models. I just did a search on mine I bought new in 2017 and it looks like it has been discontinued.

Seems odd they would get rid of the remote pairing feature. I don't recall mine having any other plug except to power it.
