My next generator will be a Honda. Why, because if you camp at altitude it will not run properly due to the carb jets. Honda make four different carb jets for different altitude requirements. I mostly camp between 8-10K feet MSL. There's a jet for that. Now the proper jet makes the engine run with the proper air fuel mixture but there is no way to compensate for the loss of engine performance at altitude. OK, some smart alick might suggest that you could rig up a Turbo. Your warranty would then be voided, ha ha ha.

This is what we have, and love it. It will run the a/c alone. It isn't the quietest though at 65db.Click image for larger version
