New Generator?

I had not ever heard of the Energizer Brand generators until I saw an add in the Trailer Life magazine. Does anyone have any experience with them? Sounds promising from reading through the description.

The 2000p looks like many of the Yamaha clones out there on the market today.

I don't know, but that won't keep me from replying .

My first thought, given the pricing, which is similar to the various Chinese generators out there, is that this is a Chinese made generator, branded as an Energizer product. Certainly, the logo is very similar to the familiar Energizer battery logo.

Aside from the similar logo, I couldn't find anything to indicate that this generator is in any way affiliated with the battery maker. No Energizer bunny.

Are they ripping off the logo, or did the battery maker decide to get in the generator market by having generators made in China, and relying on their well known brand name to boost sales?

Will be interesting to find out.

I am sure Energizer is not making them, they will do a licensing deal if the price is right and let someone use the name and logo.

Have a Yamaha 2000 and works great, easy start, fairly quiet, and good on gas.
