Well Jayco put the Basic model in and we boondock in cold weather and it says to ďwinterizeĒ if temps drop below 41 degrees in the manual and that just doesnít work for us. Takes way to long to get hot water to any faucet, average about 30 seconds and in the furthest away faucet which is the kitchen, the water temp only reaches 98-100 degrees after running a couple minutes. Checking into upgrading to the comfort model but being in Oregon I would have to pay labor and parts to have it done and it may be cheaper to just swap out to the Atwood XT myself which would also give us the ability to run the HW heater on electricity and not just gas like the Truma.
