Thetford AquaMax Fail!
I have been using Thetford AquaKem holding tank deodorizer and treatment for over 20 years. I have been very happy and satisfied with this product. However it is no long available from my supplier.
So I bought a half gallon of the “new and improved” Thetford AquaMax. This new formulation is 100 percent free of formaldehyde and bronopol (California compliant holding tank treatment. – that figures!)
We have had 90 degree F+ heat here in WNY for the last couple of days and this new AquaMax has failed miserably. It practically has no odor control at all.
I have not seen any reviews of this new formulation. Luckily AquaKem is still available on Amazon.
If you have used this new AquaMax, how did it work for you?
