Wago products

I've been using Wago 221-412 lever nuts for awhile now and have been really happy with them. They are made to connect wiring together, practical for us up to 48 volt DC or 120 volt AC.

Wire sizes can be between 24 to 12 AWG, stranded or solid copper wire.

What really nice in a RV is that they don't vibrate apart like wire nuts (why do they still use these?) and are accepted in RV builds.

You can use them anywhere in you home or Rv (please follow electrical codes).

Now the is a newer line for 10 AWG. Now running some wires for example, solar has been made easier. 221-612.

Next will be in-line lever connectors.

My first introduction to Wago connectors was when I installed my MicroAir AC softstart. The kit came with the connectors and it sure made the job a lot easier. Great products.

They are significantly more costly than a traditional wire nut. But for us DIYers, we use so few that it is not a huge deal.

Where they excel, is if you have a short wire, and space is challenging, it is easy to slip the wire in, and flip the leaver, to secure them. Much easier than trying to spin a wire nut, it tight quarters.

I have a knock off version of these. I think they're good for certain applications. I personally have used wire nuts for years with no issues but I do add dielectric grease in the wire nut before adding the wire (at least when necessary) and I always add a zip tie to the wires just under the wire nut after I have twisted on the wire nut. Also don't over tighten the wire nut.
