I bought this grill last fall for my new 22rb. I've used it several time between then and now.
It's super convenient, well made and gets nice and hot, even in the cold...lid close of course. It's not too heavy, has gas strut to assist for one handed set up. To break down, you just pull the handle and it auto 'magically' folds itself down and locks. It has roller wheels and a handle for portability. Weber engineers really put a lot of thought into this one. It's even pretty easy to clean. Aside from the actual grease cup which should be clean and empty during storage, the grill 'seals' itself...when tilted on its wheels, grease inside will not drip out from the lid when in portable mode -stood upright on its wheels.
It collapses into a long but streamlined size, that fits my front passthrough, easily.
There's an insert you can buy to make one side of the grill (not both) of the gill into a griddle. The name brand insert is $99 but there are several third party sellers of a similar insert with ranging reviews. You can't use 2 griddle plates at the same time, as the grill is not engineered to work without the airflow that is needed via open gill grates. Also the plates have tabs on the inside edge that keep you from being able to insert 2 plates, on the surface of the grill.
The height of the lid is not as high as the Q series of grills, so keep that in mind if you like to use your grill for large (tall) birds, pieces of meat or cooking vessels.
Be mindful when shopping. There is a typical version of this grill that is regulated, where you screw the gas hose onto a typical LP tank. BUT there is also a lesser known and lesser available, RV version of this grill Called 'Weber Traveler RV' that has an UNREGULATED quick connect port, made to be used with your camper's already regulated propane, coming off your camper.
I know the full sized Traveler has the RV version option. I do not see the mini Traveler being offering with the RV option.
Finally, Weber has put the RV version ON its website. Last year when I was shopping for mine, it was not clear about the RV version and it took a bit of input from this forum to figure out that it even existed.
You can best find the RV version by shopping the Weber website or Camping World, online. I've not seen the RV version at any of my local Ace Hardware stores.
It's not an inexpensive grill. BUT, it is a Weber and if you've ever owned one, you know you'll probably have it for a LONG time. The Full sized Traveler RV is $429
