So I was wondering if I can remove the gas tank and run the lines from the RV tank directly into the Generator. It also has a gen on switch inside the trailer so how do I wire that. It has a (I Think 7 pin) plug in the gen bay. Does any one know where I can get the wiring diagram and is removing the fuel tank viable?

Probably not an easy task. You would need cooling air, a proper exhaust system, and a fuel pump with it's associated plumbing and wiring. Plus probably the start / run/ stop wiring isn't compatible with that generator. Not to mention the sound and vibrations of that type of generator running inside of your RV.

I bought the 2500 and I'm happy with it. I won't handle the AC though.
