2000 Jayco Manistee Pop up - Kentucky

I would first like to say that even though I am new to the Jayco forums and have never posted, the value in past forum topics has helped me tremendously during my learning curve. That being said, I am selling my Jayco Manistee pop up camper. Like many newbies, I got in over my head initially, but now at this point time is money and I need to move on.

Here are the basics:

2000 Jayco Heritage Manistee Pop Up camper. VIN:1UJAJ01H2Y13M0178 KY Title: Clear

Purchased in October 2022 from a couple in KY. They owned it for about a year and only used it a couple of times and then let it sit. They had pictures listed of the inside, but at that point in time one of the corners would not come up so I could not see the inside. I purchased it for 2500. Fast forward to today, I have almost 4,000 in this and have reached a point of frustration. I replaced the cable, lift arm, spring and slug for that corner and got it working up and down. I have done numerous maintenance to get the camper in shape. The overall condition of the camper is very solid. It has two king bed slide outs. Cold A/C. Hot water heater, new LED lights. I took up their vinyl plank stick on flooring and purchased a new color to go down. All the cushions and beds are new foam and new curtains. I have cleaned up the fridge, but have not trouble shot why the pilot light wont light for it. can run on battery, a/c or gas

Why am I selling .. Again time is money for me now. I can not figure out why the corner spring keeps popping out of the lift arm every fourth or fifth time you crank it down all of the way in the storage position. This causes the corner not to lift up. It needs to have the pex water line fixed in a corner from the city inlet to the pump and then to the external hose on the outside. I could not get the fridge to light off of the gas line. It will need to have the floor cleaned before the new plank can be put down. It will need a corner step fixed. I have the wood for this. It will need some touch up white paint on the inside when the floor gets back down. I did not even get to look, but I m certain the brake line will need to be flushed with new fluid. The tires look to be 85 solid tread. It is a very solid camper and heavy at 2,500lbs. This is still a project, I am not going to lie to you like the people I purchased it from. I learned my lesson and view it as a charity donation to them. I forgot to mention, the canvas. The overall condition and quality is good. There were a few small rips and a corner that looks to need attention in the future, but it was waterproof and solid. I would say 90 good for the age.

My frustration and time loss is your gain if this is your kind of project. I have 4,000 in it right now.

Selling for 1,500 .. I don t mean to be rude, but I am not going to email back and forth the things I have done or all the specifics I have done. You either want it for parts or a project. Plain and simple.

Thanks,

Todd
