12 cu. Norcold Refer on LP

Anyone have any idea why my refrigerator quits running on LP when it gets down to about 7lbs still in the tank?

I'm having to switch LP tanks way too early in order to keep refer running on LP. Regulator issue or Refer issue?

X2 - I've run our first tank dry and the fridge has kicked back on once the "aut0-switch" feature of the regulator kicks in.
