I really don't believe there is one, unless you have a three-way fridge. If that's the case, can't help you anyway,

If it's a demand heater like mine, there is an on/off switch behind the outside cover. It says it is a 12 volt circuit. I read about this somewhere, but not in the manual.

No such thing as a 12 volt water heater. Here is why:
it takes a lot of enrgy to heat water. To heat your 12 gallons of water one time in your Pinnacle water heater, would consumes all the electricity stored in your batteries. The twelve volts supplied to the water heater is for ignition of the propane.

I'm not familiar with your specific unit but usually the wh switch is a rocker switch. one way is 120v, the other is gas( which is controlled by a 12v control circuit.)
The middle or neutral position is off.

In all honesty, there are many different switch arrangements. Unless someone has the same one as your, it will hard to locate the switch.

Just wanted to clarify if all the different answers are confusing you.

There is a single on off switch marked water heater 120volt just inside the door on the wall.; the water heater is gas and elect. the manual just says to turn the switch on and the red lite will come on and then go out when the unit lites. there is 12volt wiring going to the heater, torn the place apart and still can not find the switch.

Our 2-way WH has 2 switches, one is "Electric" (120V) and the other is "Gas" which I expect requires 12V.

Same two switches in the same cubby. Could it be a gas only like my old unit? I would think a Pinnacle would have dual HW.

My 2015 pinnacle has two water heater switches. One labeled electric water heater and one labled lp gas water heater. The Pinnacle has one 12 gallon water heater that operates on 120 volts AC and lp gas. The lp gas switch will auto-ignite the lp gas which you can hear when the flame ignites. When I have full hook ups I turn both switches on. The gas heats much faster and the rv park's electricity maintains the temperature. The gas does not come on unless there is high demand such as a long shower. The two water heater switches on my 36KTPS are side by side in the main control panel with slide, lighting and automatic awning switches.

My current rig has 2 separate switches. My last rig only had one. I couldn't run both ac and gas at the same time. Now with a 12 gal. wh it's not needed.
Can't help you look but am confident it is in there somewhere.

Did you try turning on the switch without shore power? There might be a relay in the circuit that would allow the switch to work for both ac and dc getting to the water heater.
