1998 Jayco Designer Remodel

Just thought I would share the results of our 1998 Jayco Designer 5th Wheel Remodel and offer to share any minor knowledge I may have learned while digging deep into this particular 5th Wheel with anyone who may be doing one like it or similar.
It was a fun project that started as a very ugly duckling and in our eyes...has become a Swan. Really good bones to start with and I was actually fairly impressed with the construction. She is a bit on the heavy side I am sure when compared to newer models of the same size, but it pulls and tracks well and feels solid on the road.
