Thumbs down 2 posts, 227 views and NO REPLIES...

I posted twice about a hanging wire in my battery compartment and not one reply. I thought for sure I'd find some help on this forum...

Post a picture. I didn't see your post but this is a large forum. It's likely it was missed.

Maybe no one knows. I sure don't. I saw both of your posts.

Many forum members perhaps view posts like I do.
I go to the right hand side of the page and review the recent posts. I don't have a 5er and am not familiar with your particular model. Therefore, I may read your post, but don't answer. I'm sure that's true of others too. We're not ignoring you, just don't want to give an uninformed answer, or worse yet - a wrong answer.

Don't take it as a slight.
Not getting any response happens sometimes. There have been a couple of times when I've posted something that I thought would be of interest and got some views, but no responses.

We're friendly here. I'm sure someone will come through for you.

Hard to tell what wire is hanging without a picture of it, or perhaps the color may give us a tip.. If it's just a hanging wire I would guess, it's cause one end is not attached to anything just sayin..

Earl
Personally, I'd prefer "No response" to a wrong one too.

This. I don't see a fifth wheel in our future, but I read most of these. Some things are common, and some not. Either way, I'm grateful for the question even if I don't have a ready answer.
