2003 Jayco Designer Pump location?

We have a 2003 Jayco Designer 5th Wheel 31RLS...we cannot find the location of the water pump. It does not turn on so we can’t locate it by sound. We need to replace it. Can anyone tell me where it is located. We have looked everywhere. The water control center is in the back and took panel off but still couldn’t see one. Please help...and thank you in advance!

Not familiar with that model but often they are under/behind bathroom sinks. Check for panels that are false walls. If your underbelly is not enclosed, possibly follow water lines or at least it may give you a direction to start looking.

A quick Google search found the owners manual. Nothing specific ( typical) but does suggest possibly under the bed also.

Thanks for responding...it’s not under the bed, sinks, sofa or big compartment. The underbelly is fully enclosed...schematic says it’s in the back of the camper and we have looked everywhere for an access but there isn’t one. I think we are going need someone who has the exact same camper to tell us. Thanks for trying.

Is is likely going to be behind a panel in one of those places. It's like an Easter egg hunt, lol.

On my 2011 Superlite, the pump was under a kitchen drawer. Perhaps remove some lower drawers, under the stove area? If I were Jayco, I would try to keep it near the fresh tank, of course I am not Jayco though.

Thanks pulled all drawers not there either. By the schematic I really think it’s behind the control panel but that would be really hard to pull. When I get home from camping I’m going to call Jayco and give them my VIN and see if they can tell me. I will post the answer I get. Thanks again!

Hopefully they will be able to help you. On the bright side, you are probably learning thing about the camper that you never knew, I know when I go digging around I almost find a surprise, sometimes not so good.

In our 2002 Designer water pump is in a small enclosure at Left Rear, accessible from inside the RV. One of the decorative panels slides out even though it looks "fixed" or fastened in place. It is just on the floor just above the Water Valve Panel that you mentioned.

Good Luck! If you still have no luck, contact Jayco with your vin number and ask them to send you the plumbing schematic.

Probably under the bathroom. You need to remove the back panel of the storage area.

2003 Jayco Designer Pump location?

Thanks FireFlier....our 5th wheel is in a seasonal park and I am at home now but when I get back I will definitely look where you said.

We have a magazine rack right there and I thought of taking it off but thought no way could it be there...but by the schematic I think you are right...I will let you know when I go back up there this weekend. Thanks again!

Still looking...the place where yours was...ours is a solid wall...no opening. Actually if the pump is in that area it will be under the floor behind the water control center because the wall is not thick enough to hold it.

Well Rats! If you haven’t already, email Jayco customer service. They were very helpful in my experience to obtain drawings, data, and wiring diagrams for my old 5’er.
All the best!

Water pump location

The water pump is accessed from the bottom rear of the Designer. Remove the ABS belly pan and there is the pump. Be prepared to have a helper. Put the insulation in plastic trash bags and seal them with tape so they will stay dry if you have a leak.
