2008 Eagle Super Lite Frame Cracking?

2008 Eagle Super Lite 31.5 FBHS... During lubrication and inspection for the season, found frame cracked at the gusset welds just above the U channel that the spring shackles ride in. Similar at each of the 6 gussets. Anyone seen or dealt with this before?

I have a 2011 Superlite 28.5RLS. I had heard of the frame cracking issue on earlier years. My frame has a lot of cross-bracing from side to side at the spring hangers and I have had no spring hanger issues since I bought the trailer new. That sort of bracing may be the ultimate repair for your issue. Here's what they did:

I just re-read your post, and noticed that your frame is cracked at all six hangers. My frame is re-enforced as you see at the 4 "outside" shackle locations. The center shackles are reinforced only with the re-enforcement you see in the image that is on the frame itself; I think those re-reinforcements are on each side of each frame rail.

Thank you sir, appreciate the feedback. I believe that the longitudinal cracking is from side to side 'sway', and the bracing in your pic may be the ticket. Guess a trip to the local trailer repair guy is in order.
