2011 vs 2012 nose question
Hoping someone can answer a question for me. The nose on our 2011 365 BHS was slightly concaved right around the area the trucks cab corner would hit. This allowed me to pretty much jack-knife the camper without coming close to hitting my cab corner. I notice the 2012 nose doesn't have these. Anyone else towing a 2012 Eagle 5th wheel with a shortbed 3/4 ton and if so do you run into any problems backing it into a tight space? I won't be pulling mine except for when I pick it up so buying a slider hitch isn't an option unless it's just an absolute must.
Thanks,
Jr

Only comment is I would not buy a slider hitch just for the trip home.

If the corners are curved in on one and not the other you may want to check on how far the pin sticks out from the front of the trailer. If the pin extends out farther then they would be the same for clearance.
I agree with norty1. I would not buy a different hitch for a one time pull.

I will amend my statement, If you are going to put it on a lot, I would not buy a truck or any hitch.
Pay someone to haul and set it up.

I have a slider hitch and never used the slide option untill it was too late. I agree with everyone else. It's gotta be a really tight turn to get into the cab. Just take your time and if your trying to park it, have a friend watch it while you park it.

I can't quite get 90*, but it's pretty close.

Thanks for the info. I won't be pulling it a lot, in fact I will most likely be pulling it from RVdirect in Des Moines IA, to our house and then directly to our campground. Once it's parked it will not likely leave hence the reason I don't want to buy a slider hitch. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't take away any clearance and our 2011 cleared without a problem so I'm pretty sure the 2012 will as well.
Thanks again,
Jr
