2013 Pinnacle Slide Problem

We have 2013 Pinnacle. It has 4 slides. The longest of the slides has the dining area and the couch. We are having a problem with extending this slide. We have used the switch on the power panel and we tried using the remote. After many starts and stops we finally got it extended. The slide topper is not too tight and the slide retracts all the way in evenly. Someone mentioned to us that it could be the module because if it was the motor it wouldn't extend/retract evenly. No problems with the retract switch. Any ideas??

What slide system is installed with this slide? Any fault codes on the controller?

It's just the standard gear type slide. Where would I find the controller? Is that those little boxes in the basement? If it is there is no read out panel on them, just wires and plugs.

I don't believe that it has a digital controller like the SlimRack and Schwinteks do. It's and old-school through-the-frame system. It has a manual over-ride using a 3/4" socket on the motor/ gearbox assy. but I've never had to use it. Could your issue be as simple as a lube issue?

Oddly, ours will go in and out with the switch but only extend from the OneControl panel.

Angus, I'm having intermittent problems with the dining room slide. Sometime it works from the control panel sometimes not. Always works from my phone and the OneControl panel. Shows "fault detected" from my phone but will still work. Very seldom hear the clutch anymore. I read that the clutch & motor are one assembly. It's going to be replaced under warranty when I get to Louisiana.

We did do a lubrication just a short time ago, but I'll get my husband to do it again. The switch is just a toggle type switch like a light switch on a wall. When I push the 'down' nothing happens, if I fiddle sometimes it will go out a few inches. Have to keep doing that to get it out. I thought maybe the switch was broken, so I tried using the remote, same problem. I do believe we are going to have to take it into the shop.

Looks like we're crossing paths. We just came through Louisiana en-route to TX. We drop the house off at Vogt RV in Ft Worth on the 13th. We'll add the dinette slide to the honey-do list while they work on the crack.
