2014 Eagle Premier Tank Level Switches
We just purchased a 2014 Eagle Premier 351 RLTS but I must say, I am disappointed in the manuals that come from Jayco, or lack of them. Can anyone tell me how you check the tank levels and battery level in the control panel. There are no switches to select the tanks. There is a spot for the switches but they are blanked out. I’m sure it is pretty simple but I just haven’t figured it out. Thanks

Most gauge indicators have a button you depress to read each monitor level, it should be directly under each of the columns of indicator lights. Push in to read, when you let go they will turn off

A picture of your specific monitor panel would help us. As far as I can tell, it should be a normal "tactile" panel, powered by the 12 volt supply.

Here's how to post pictures here.
Select reply to thread and type your reply.
Scroll down to Additional Options and select Attach Files
In the Upload file from computer block, select Choose File, select the Upload and find up to 5 pictures from your computer or phone and select Upload. After they upload, scroll to the bottom of the box and select Close this window.
Go back to the Reply block above and select Preview Post. If ok select Submit Reply.
Most pictures will display if you don't do any type of editing on them before posting.

Ok, hopefully there is a picture attached thanks for the help. The two top left switch locations are blank but this is where the switches should be located.

Are those little tiny black circles not actual buttons that can be pressed ?

We cannot read the blank switch locations, but my guess is those are for optional tank heaters. The little buttons under each tank are your buttons to push for a reading of each tank/battery one at a time

I just looked for your panel on several sites, couldn't find the exact match, but I did figure out that the blank switches are tank level selectors for units having more than one black and/or gray tank. The little buttons above those switches and below the indicator lights are what you press to read each tank.

Thanks everyone for your help. I’m glad I found this forum because it is great. I feel pretty pretty stupid at the moment. The little black buttons were below the lights. I thought they were also lights. Next time I will put my glasses on. The two blank switches were marked Grey 1 & 2 and Black 1 & 2 so this threw me a little. They probably were for tank heaters as someone mentioned. Thanks again for the help.

You're very welcome, and no reason at all to feel stupid. We all have to get used to our RVs particular systems when we first get them. There are so many different models and versions available, and combine that with manufacturers having to change vendors to get products, so a model specific Jayco manual would be impossible to keep accurate and current. That's why they include as many individual makers manuals for the components that are in your RV.
In a previous life, I spent 26 years in the automotive parts business. I grew up looking parts up in parts catalogs printed and updated by the manufacturers. It cost them a lot of money to do that. When was the last time your parts store had catalog racks that were full of great information? Now everything's on a computer, and if it doesn't show up there, you're out of luck.
Consider the JOF the alternative source for answers to any question you have that aren't in the manual.
