2015 Eagle HT 27.5 Rlts

New to the Jayco forum.

Deposit put down. Picking up Dec 30th. Can not wait. My first 5th wheel. Been rving since 2006.

Tv 2009 Silverado 2500, 6.0L, 3.73, 2wd

I hope the truck can handle it.

I have not looked at the weights but my in laws tow their FW with a 2500 an have had no problems.

You should be fine with the 3/4 ton. The 6.0 might get a bit thirsty, but thats just the nature of the beast.

congrats,
but anything gas when towing gets thirsty, my half ton got absolutely terrible fuel econ when my trailer was hooked up

Was told by one dealer that the "HT" stood for "half ton" as in truck....if that's the case, you should be ok with a 3/4 ton.

My Honda Ridgeline gets 8mpg when we tow our 23 foot Jayflight.
