2015 or 2016 pinnacle tires

Like to hear from anyone who has a new pinnacle if you have had any problems with the tires that come on this rig, if you have had trouble and changed tires what did you put on and did you have to change the rims also. If you did change where did you purchase them , was it jayco direct? Or dealer?

We own a 2015 pinnacle I've only got a 1000 miles on them so far (fingers crossed) so good, but when we can afford to we will go with the goodyear I've read a lot of good on them.

We have a 2013 Pinnacle that came with the "Blowmax" tires. I also thought that I could run them for a couple of years but boy, was I wrong! One came apart after about 15 months and inflicted over $5,000. damage to the trailer body. Dynamic Tire Corp., the manufacturer of the tire refused to accept any liability for the trailer damage nor would they honor their warranty. They requested that I ship them the tire for examination and declared that I ran it underindlated. Yeah, well B.S. because I check the pressure frequently and NEVER exceed 60 mph except in very limited instances and that is for short periods like passing.

Fortunately, insurance took care of the trailer repair and I have used every opportunity such as this to publicize what junk these tires are. This includes writing Jayco a very long letter telling them that they should not be putting cheap foreign made tires on their high end trailers or at least offering an upgrade. To Jayco's credit they have since initiated such an option.

Now, for my own peace of mind and safety I replaced the OEM wheels with 110 psi rated ones and installed Goodyear G614's. It was a big pill to swallow but we now travel feeling that we've tipped the scales in our favor. We feel that it was the right thing for us to do.

The wheels were ordered off of the internet from www.recstuff.com and the tires were purchased from our local Discount Tire store.

I took the Maxxis 8008 tire upgrade for their E rating.

I had read enough about other people's problems with the tires, that we had Goodyear G614's put on as part of the purchase. On our 2005 Jayco Eagle, it came with Maxxis tires and when it came time to replace them, I put Maxxis on the TT.
