2016 36fbts air conditioning

Have a 2016 35fbts new from factory. Have had it the last 2 months and haven't needed to use the a/c due to cooler temps. Now it is nice and warm here in Ohio and we are preparing to leave in it next week for full timing for the next 2-3 years. We have two a/c units installed from the factory. Both are running constantly and we can't get the temp down below 80 degrees during the day and it's only in the mid to upper 80s. This is our first RV but I don't think I'm doing anything wrong. Any thoughts or advice. Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on the new trailer and welcome to the forum.

Hopefully someone with a similar unit will have something to offer. My first thoughts are the obvious ones; windows and ceiling vents closed and the thermostat(s) set on 'cool' and to a low temp. Other than those, I got nothin'.

Thanks. Other than this a/c issue the trailer is great. I have all the easy things figured out already and have read both the a/c unit manual and the thermostat manual both to no avail.

I've read lots of stories on here where the duct work wasnt connected properly
And things like that.
If you suspect something isn't right, then it probably isn't.

I decided to pull my cover off in my interior this week and my ductwork wasn't sealed very well along with the corners of the rear header so I taped all of them to seal but I also noticed when I put the cover back on that the divider from the blower side to the intake side wasn't sealed worth a dime where the cover met the divider it was blowing through with serious force, so I sealed it with gorilla tape also. If I had been in town I would have gotten some foam tape and installed it at the bottom but it did make a world of difference in how much came out of my duct work. I mean if half of the air is blowing by, back into the air intake what good is that doing

turns out i was missing a sensor on the main AC unit in the living room. the dealer replaced it and its working great now. They were confused for a day and spent most of their time on the phone with the manufacturer. At least its fixed now and we are on the road full time now. Thanks for your help guys.
