Wow...sorry to hear Mike.
Hopefully they fix everything
On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with my North Point (knock wood)

Thanks and enjoy your new unit. We went and bought new La Z Boy Pinnacle sofa and rocker yesterday. It just seemed fitting that it was named Pinnacle like our camper.

Well I will be towing this weekend for the first time in what seems like forever. Taking it to the dealer Tuesday for the list of repairs that need to be fixed and they will be fixing the sidewall at the dealership. Love the camper layout and when this list gets fixed and I'm back to camping in the Spring, I'm sure we'll love it like we should.
I will be winterizing it this Sunday. Never had a W/D or a fridge with an ice maker in it so I am sure it will take a little longer.
Thanks for reading my thread. Looking forward to the 2016 Camping Season.

So sorry to hear that you have had so many problems. We have a couple of minor issues with our RSQS, but that has been it so far. We towed it to Phoenix for the winter, brought the truck back for the holidays, and will head back in December to spend 3 ½ months full time in it (in one location). I guess if anything is going to break, we should discover it by the time we get it back home in April. Our layout is very similar to yours, and we love it. Hopefully you will get everything fixed and enjoy a great season next year.

I just got the new rocker/reclining chairs from the dealer yesterday. Since I bought La Z Boy stuff I will be selling the new chairs that Jayco sent me. If anyone is interested please send me a message. They are the brown cloth chairs.

I guess I didn't think of all the stress the DW will be under during the waiting period.

Now she wants to postpone our trip. I say lets load it up and when the new one comes in just transfer everything over at that time. The people at the sales office helped us last time, I'm sure they will again. That's what keeps you coming back, customer service.
When we purchased our 361REQS Premier it was in Tucson AZ. We sold a Montana we had and loaded it's contents into a 5'x8'x6' covered trailer to take the stuff to AZ to put in the new RV. We packed the stuff in boxes except a bicycle and it was FULL. Amazing how much stuff you can accumulate.

I agree. It's like a complete apartment full of stuff when you "Move" into a new one. We're still trying to figure out where we actually put stuff in the new camper.

Picking up our camper Friday to take back up North on Saturday. Hopefully everything is fixed as new.
When I went to get into the unit to winterize it the door lock malfunctioned and the key was stuck in the lock and I couldn't turn it or unlock the unit to get in. I gave the dealer the anti freeze and they said they would do it for me. We'll find out Friday.. Fingers crossed.

They allegedly fixed it at the dealer. Said it wasn't structural. We shall see.
Looking forward to camping this year to put it through its paces.

Picked up our unit Friday. Went to Wisconsin Saturday and it towed like a dream... as soon as I remembered to air up the airbags in the truck. Oops.
The wall repair looks good. Seems as if everything is taken care of that was on my list, and was it a list.
As soon as I turned on my leveling system I had an error message. I reset by lowering all jacks manually and started over. Successful Level.. Woo hoo.. I'm getting the hang of this.
Looking forward to this season ahead of us. Rick's RV in Joliet is my dealer and has been in contact with us to keep us up to date. Thanks...

That was close to an 8 month fix
I don't know how you did it. I would have flipped out on them after 3

Waiting on parts mostly. Then when you open 1 can of worms you need to order parts to fix the other 2 that were inside hiding..
I'm glad to have it back.

Crap... I forgot to look in my closet up front. It was on my list to fix, but I forgot to check. The entire ceiling had about 100 staples in it, but none of them were hitting their mark so the ceiling was just free floating. Ugh.. Crossing my fingers they did the repair.

Mike, have you ever mention about your weak brake issue to your dealer?
My dealer is starting the process now. Needs to see if the correct axels were installed (has seen this before) and needs to weigh the unit and then get back to Lippert with the results... Then hopefully replace the parts.

Just camped for the first time this year and from having what I thought was everything repaired. The closet roof looks good, but the doorway into the bedroom now has a 1/2" - 3/4" gap along the top of the door and the trim is FUBAR.
Our refrigerator now has a burnt out display light.
On a side note the system said it auto level success. but will need to be calibrated as it is not level. LOL

Had ours down in Phoenix for the winter. Came back with a few items needing repair. Most are cosmetic, except for the awning arm. Wind caught the front awning and bent the rear arm backwards. Waiting on parts to repair. Won't be cheap I'm sure.

If it is just the arm I bet it wont be that bad cost wise for the part. Remember these are built with the cheapest cost in mind.

Mike, I hope there is a light at the end of your tunnel.

MantyGary, I tried to get the struts for my Dometic awning on my SOB. The dealer told me no can do, I could only buy the whole arm assembly for $600 (Canadian) per side. It's their problem now that I traded it into them.
I hope you can just get the parts you need for your fix. Report back on how you make out.

2017 Updated Issues

Took the Pinnacle to the dealer 4 weeks ago because the power awning failed. When I was on the roof looking things over noticed that the back cap where it meet the roof had no caulk in there so the dealer fixed that the second I dropped it off as it was looking like rain. THANK YOU!!!
I noticed half way home to Illinois from Wisconsin the brakes seems very weak. Get out to find grease on the rims on the driver's side wheels. Dealer just called and said the axel seals failed and they are replacing the backing plates as well as the brakes since it's covered under my extended warranty. He said they were packed with grease so no wonder why it seemed like I had no brakes. Shew. I guess I am glad I bought the extended warranty since the awning is junk and the main living room AC took a dump at the end of the season I feel like the extended warranty just paid for itself.
Now I was told I needed to have the roof "Sealed" I thought that the only thing I needed to do was wash it with Dawn a few times a year and check for missing caulk. I was told I was wrong. Any opinions about this?
With my luck it will be ready to take back to Wisconsin during a heavy snow storm...
Thanks for reading.
