Learning from you guys. .. if there is no penalty then the rv dealer has no motive to pdi, deliver, or provide accurate info. I bet the deposit is about the amount of their commision

There will be a penalty to Jayco for all these hassles, it's just a matter of proper timing.

I will NOT order again. If I can't find what I want on a lot I guess I don't need it. My sales guy said that they'll send their OWN guy to get it from Jayco when it's ready.. Yeah right. I have a bridge I'm trying to sell too.

It just makes you think about a different brand in my book. Just sayin'.
Even though I've bought other brands and have come back to Jayco, the other brands are stepping up their game lately.

I'm leaving for my Birthday trip 2 days late and without the new unit...

Well.......Tomorrow is supposed to be THE DAY!! We shall see. I have zero confidence it will be. So much so I left or trade sitting in Wisconsin on my property up there for another week or so.

I understand, I will never order again either. And now that I have had mine for over a week I am starting to notice little things here and there that are driving me crazy. Biggest one is all the pantry shelves are only 1/4" thick. My last trailer they were 5/8". We ended up having to put our canned goods on the floor because they were starting to break the shelf. I am happy overall but I seriously think my '86 Fleetwood Taurus had more solid construction.

I think that's the problem with ordering, you can't see or touch it to make sure it will work for you. My other issue is going to be there are NO pictures of what the changes looked like that they made for the 2016's. So if I liked it in the 2015 model there may be a difference in the 2016. How do you address that?

You can't address it. Fortunately we like all the changes that were made, especially the exterior color and profile. The only thing I don't like is the use of white putty tape with all the black exterior parts/molding. There is gray putty available which would have looked so much nicer.

Just got a call from my dealer. Says Jayco had some pretty BIG storms that damaged a lot of units that were waiting to ship out. He said siding had to be completely torn back off and re-sided because of all the damage. Accordingly that pushed me back again a few more days.

Mike sorry to hear this, such a shame no one could be bothered to let you know after it happened.
