2016 North Point and 3 different keys

Has anybody done anything with the Key setup on the North Point 5th wheels? We have 1 set for the Entrance door, 1 set for the cargo doors, and 1 set for the 6 point Leveler controller door.

Seems like way to many different keys?

I have 4 on my eagle HT

I agree so many keys. The 2017s came with a single key set

I asked the dealer to key all the outdoor locks the same and they told me that it is not able to be done. I guess I'm stuck with the 3 keys.

It can be done...just aftermarket. It's on my list of mods, just way low on the list right now.

Our Pinnacle came with 3 sets - one for the front door, one for the baggage doors and the standard door keys that everyone has & we switched them to over.

First thing I did was change the lock on the leveller door to one without a lock.
It would drive me insane if I had to open that with a key everytime

My 2017 North Point came with one key for all. They also gave me an extra baggage hatch lock I will install on the generator access door. Wish I had an extra for the propane access doors. My leveler door is plastic and not lockable. The main door has a password protect lock so I can unlock & lock without a key. I guess you can ask for a new main door lock with matching hatch door locks like the 2017s

My 2017 Eagle 293RKDS (built and waiting shipment) has single key. They stopped putting the locks on the auto level. I asked Jayco to install one and they said they couldn't due to the transporter needing access. So they included a matching lock cylinder for me to install. I don't like my controls open to anyone to play, prank or such.

My trade trailer has (3) keys and I always hated that. Looking forward to (1) key!!

how about just install a switch to cut power to the leveler inside the basement?

That would work, accept would still need a key to get in the basement to turn the switch on to power the touch pad. So wouldn't gain anything.

Jayco included the matching lock cylinder for free. Which shocked me and the dealer. Lol

My 2017 Seismic 4212 is one key for all. Looks like Jayco went to single key in 2017 based on other post I've seen.

I bought a new entry latch and new lock sets for battery and front storage to match the locks on the basement doors from RVLocksandMore.com
The entry latch was of a higher quality than the original and the compartment locks are the same.
I went from 3 keys to 1 for about $75 and the install was easy. Side benefits were that I also got rid of the "751" keys for the storage locks and each lock I bought came with 2 keys so I now have plenty of spares.

My 2016 jay flight has 3 keys. One for the slider, on for the regular entry door and one for the storage compartments. We always enter/exit via the slider so it has not bothered me (yet).

We just purchased a 2017 Pinnacle and that was one of the things I thought was so great. We each have one key to lock and open every door.
