2016 Northpoint remote programming issue.

So just picked my unit up from warranty work. Like most, it has to go back for wrong parts sent.

That said I got my new remote. Silly me thought they had made sure it worked.....well it does nothing. The functions don't even match my old one. No second awning, no leveling etc. no matter what function I press the RV does nothing.

It shows 6 slides. I couldn't even find a Jayco with 6 slides.

Anyone know how to program this to 377 RLBH???

Jason

Remote needs linked to your trailer. The procedure should be on the lippert website.

Yep, I found it. I renamed some of mine to something that's more realistic as well.. Also read you can have other functions if you get a different control board. I would love to have one for generator start and water pump!.

I had a second awning added and it does not work on the remote. I'm assuming I need to "program" the second awning? If so, how do I do that?

You would need to see if they wired it into the controller. Do you know where the controller is ?

Hey, Bud Man, what did the 2nd awning run you? That's one thing ours doesn't have that I wish it did.

It was actually factored into the final deal when we bought the unit. I just had to take it back to dealer in off season for them to install. So, can't really say what it cost. I'm guessing it would be around $1k-1200 range?

Well worth it though in my opinion. It adds so much when sitting outside.

Agreed. Thanks for the info. I think it'll be on my list of upgrades.
