2017 321rsts Goosebox

Looking for anyone that's done a conversion of the stock pin box to a Reese Goosebox on a 321rsts.

Towing with a '20 F350 CC LB 6.2 3.73 gasser.

Looks to be a fairly straight forward swap out. Any gotchas?

Something wen wrong with my internet connection. Didn't finish orginal message so deleted and started over.. ZI tow with a 2018 Ram.

I did the conversion with same Lippert Model 1621 last June. Install was easy and straight forward. you'll need a torque wrench up to 200 Ft. lbs. Harbor Freight will help with that. Best to use your truck bed backed to your pin box for install. Use your trailers front jack to align with the Goosebox to Pinbox. There area a lot of you-tube videos out there showing the install process.. Also, get some reflective tape and place along the center of your Reese Goosebox (see Picturesures) and hitch ball guide to make backing alignment easier. The install is pretty much straight forward, i never came out with any 'Gotcha's'

Great idea on the reflective tape.
I load a truck camper and with this CC, it's hard to see out the back window.
I have a piece of white gorilla tape running down the middle of the bed mat and it's first shot every time.

I have a painted mark on the bed for the telescoping ball, so it's always in the correct position when i place it. I thin back up aligning the ball with the reflective tape on the Goosebox. When i bump the Telescoping Ball, i know i'm dead center to drop the Goosebox. Work's every time and sure saves a lot of frustrations... Sure made the wife happy..

Do you order just one ball height or do you get a couple for fine tuning?

I have the B&W Gooseneck Hitch with their standard Turnball. I did order their 4" extender and found i did not need it. I tow with a 18 Ram 4x4 Short Bed and have plenty of turning clearance with my 19 321 RSTS. I also have nearly 7 inch of bed clearance between trailer and bed rails with 40 lbs in the Goosebox air bag. Goosebox is mounted in lowest point in Pin Box. Some trailers with a less beveled nose may have a turning radius problem but the 321 RSTS have plenty.. Jayco carries their nose design across most models, so i'm sure there wont be any issues towing a Jayco 5th Wheel..
