2017 355 MBQS Hot Water Heater

All

I have a 2017 355MBQS, the HW heater on the electric side has quite working. I used gas all last year but I would like the electric side to work as well. The light on the switch lites up but I get no warm water. I figure the element is out but I can’t find it. Anyone else with this problem? Where is the element?

Thanks

Angelo

Element is installed from the back side... as in from inside the trailer. If you ran the electric with no water in the tank will burn up the element.

Any chance you know how to get to the back of the HW Heater to replace, I assume you change same as a home electric water heater.

Thanks

Depends on where hw heater is. On our eagle fw you have to pull out the complete rear wall in the basement. Disconnect the 12volt light, 120 volt outlet, and the outside tv cable connection.
So you stand on one thumb, tongue in left side of mouth and reach full length of my arms to get to the back of the water heater. Ours is to the rear of the water valves and under the furnace.

YMMV

Just did mine last month. If your 355 is anything like my 377, it is in the basement passthru storage compartment, behind the wall. Remove the panel that exposes the water pump and filter to see it. You will also have to remove several wall panels to gain access. Not really a bad job, just take your time.
