2017 377 rlbh

Just put a deposit (can still back out) on a 2017 Northpoint 377RLBH. any overall opinions as to quality build on these units? Im looking to trade in a 2010 Montana that has been a great unit as far as quality/reliability.

we absolutely love our 2016 unit and from the little info I have gotten on the 17's, you are getting an even better product!

The 2017 Eagle 355MBQS now has a similar floor-plan to the 377 (bunk room & loft).

Just wondering what considerations would tip any of you towards one over the other.

I'm waffling between the two myself.

Thank you for your replies. We can run many miles in a day at 90 degree plus temperature. Any tire issues? After spending enough for the new 5th wheel, i hate to spend more to replace the factory tires. Previously gone with Michelin Ribs and no issues at all.

I still have the factory Raniers on mine. Bought my 377 in January '16. I plan on keeping mine for 1 year and then replacing for peace of mind. The ultimate test for us will be going from TX to FL panhandle in August of this year. Thus far we've only taken local trips, maybe couple hundred miles from home.

That's my plan for what it's worth.

Not sure what your TV is but the weight of the 377 is about 2,000lbs heavier than the 355.

We just had our 355MBQS out last weekend for our 1st trip with it. We had a great time! Plenty of room, that's for sure.

I actually am starting from scratch, don't have a TV yet. And I've never owned an RV, so I am comparing the features between the two without the experience to guide me. It was an easier decision when the floor plans were different.

The weight is definitely something to consider. We are leaning towards the 355 due to the price, unless I find a compelling reason otherwise.

Didn't mean to steer this discussion away from the original poster's question.

I am not an RV owner at all yet, but based on all of my research, they don't come more solidly built than Jayco, and that's what the wife and I have settled on. Minor issues aside, it seems like everyone on this forum is happy with their 377 / 355.

My walk thru is tomorrow and it is getting delivered to our campground this Saturday! I found some pictures of a 2017 online which are better then the ones I took. This one happens to be the same colors and options as ours, minus the awning on the rear slide. So excited!

I replaced mine the day I brought her home with Sailun g rated S637. Night and day difference. The Sailun tires alone weigh more than the stock tires and rims combined. I think fifth wheels of the size and weight of a 377 need g rated tires...but that's just my unscientific belief.

Last August I got a 377 and I love it, I'm very happy with my decision lots of room, well built, I upgraded to the thermal pane windows and a/c with heat pump and very happy with that decision would never go back to standard windows.

Long story short I would buy another Jayco in a heartbeat especially a north point 377rlbh

Thank you for the replies. We decided to move forward with the purchase. We are having slide toppers added to the coach. Odd enough the unit that is showing in the link above at Colerain RV is the one we purchased.

Congrats on your purchase! We bought the exact same camper, except the rear awning. Had our walk through tonight, and love everything about it, so many little features spread throughout. It will definitely take some time to learn it all. Only complaint we had was that the bunk room bed hits the cabinet when pulled out and not by just a little(same as in the picture of yours). May be some room there for adjustment but not a deal breaker by any means. Now to figure out how to properly winterize the ice maker/water dispenser system in the fridge this fall, and I must say the fit and finish work is excellent in this model! BTW we have been showing your camper pictures to our family and friends. Everyone loves it! hahaha

Is your dealer Albany RV? We were jerked around by them twice, and this time we bought from the Jayco display at the Harrisburg RV show. Jayco assigned the sale to Fritz RV, just north of Philly, and they were great to work with.

Had a very good experience this time(not always so in the past). Their new place is decent and has a nice camping store there as well. This is our 3rd Jayco from them. The rear blind would not retract, so the person doing our walk thru called a tech and within a few minutes there were 2 of them there. Within 5 minutes they had the blind down and were able to reset the spring tension. Very happy they were able to handle before they deliver it. Ended up getting the 7 year warranty because it covers the service call for repairs under warranty as well. Without it we would have to pay minimum 100.00 to send a service tech to Sacandaga (even for warranty work) where it will spend most of its life. PM me if you are ever near the lake. We spend every weekend from may till october there, and 2 full weeks vacation as well. Enjoy Placid!

I should mention Alpin Haus wanted to charge us a 200.00 service call to fix a problem with our Keystone under warranty( only 20 minutes away from the lake).. I ended up buying the part myself and fixing the problem for under $50.00
