Cool that you bought. The class A across from me did the same where I am. He leaves in May to work at a campground in Lake George. Small world. So now we both own property in Fl an NY.

It was the motor. Didn't think to ask about the ratio. Have another question - the sticker on the rig states tires should be 80 PSI, do you know if that's the max or recommended. Also, I see you are driving a 3500 Ram, me too (2012). When towing, what PSI do you use on your truck tires? Mine state 65 PSI but that seems a bit much.

It looks like u have E rated tires on your Pinnacle. If in fact they are u need to run 80 psi. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to E rated for blow out piece of mind. I have G rated and run 100 psi they also use special rims and are pricey. At least add a tire monitor. I will be adding that before my next trip. Your truck probably has E rated like mine and towing I run 80 in rear 60/65 front.

X 2 here. Same in my Ram 2500, 80psi in the rear and 65psi in the front. Rotate and balance every 5,000 miles. Only got 30,000 miles out of factory Goodyear tires. Just put new Michelins on rated for 50,000 miles. We will see how long they last. My wife's 2012 Ford Edge came with Michelin on it and she is at 77,000 miles currently. Tires are approaching 5 years old but still look like new. Going to put new ones on there shortly as well.

You can find a tire's maximum psi on the tire sidewall. I keep my TT tires at the maximum shown on the sidewall.

Not a Ram, but my load range E tires are 80psi rear and 70psi front.
