2017 North Point Title/Registration

Just interested if anybody has "Jayco" listed anywhere on their title as the make, as my 2017 title just arrived and the make is listed as "NORPT". I know Jayco was recently purchased, but was surprised the make wasn't listed as Jayco. In fact, the word Jayco isn't on the title anywhere. Curious...

It varies from state to state on how the bmv lists it.

Yeah, it's kind of weird then here in Ohio, as it lists the make as NORPT, the make description next to that as North Point, and the model below as the 377RLBH NOR. I guess they want to make sure we know it's a North Point! LOL

It just seems that the make would be a Jayco, then North Point, then the 377...

Didn't know if this had anything to do with the recent company sale, and while I had ordered it prior to the sale, it was built afterwards. Again, was just interested.

Neither my OHIO title from 2014 nor the new FL title (we hate snow) has JAYCO.

I think each state has their own method of abbreviating names. Mine just has "jayc" as the make.

They don't list General Motors, they list Chevrolet, or Buick etc. Mine says JayFlight not Jayco. I would assume they are trying to identify the actual RV, not just the Mfg of the product. JMHO

As long as the VIN and your name line up with reality, its good.

Yeah, it must be a state by state thing then. My previous purchase was when Coleman sold to Fleetwood, and the value increased by association alone with FleetWood, so I was curious if this was a similar case.
