2018 321RSTS Recliner Travel Position

I may have missed this in the owners manual? Does anyone know the proper way to secure the two recliners for travel. They are rockers so I’m sure they will bounce all over the place. There are two straps but I don’t want to mess them up.

Thanks in advance for the help,

V

On our 2017 321rsts we put the leather cover over the seatbacks, turn the chairs back to back use one strap thru the floor ring around each chair base and over the cross bar of the rocking mechanism. Second strap around the two seat backs. The foot of the rear recliner is against the slide back wall. Neither chair has moved so far.
It may be overkill but I don't want them to move on a curve or when I have to avoid the car that cut me off... (panic stop) or going up hill.

vic, we put the chairs back to back In our 2017 27.5 RLTS and use one strap to go around both backs. The 2nd strap goes through the bracket on the floor and up to the strap around the seat backs. nothing moves at all. Just make sure you have the chairs pushed back far enough so your slides don't hit the arms of the chairs.

We have a 2017 28.5 rsts HT Eagle with two freestanding swivel recliners. I used to turn the recliners back to back, using straps, etc., but I found this quite physically demanding. Husband attached a second ring between the two recliners at the front edge, and I use two straps to secure them while we travel. I thread one strap through the front ring and around the seats of the recliners and the other through the back ring and around the backs. So far so good. This way I don't have to pull the heavy chairs out and push them in sideways.

Our rig is very similar and only came with one strap. We turn them back to back and put a cloth throw between the seat back and wrap the strap around both chair backs and dinch up up snug.

They never move because there is no where to go when the slide is in.
