We have 8600 miles on our 2019 with no rear a/c problems except a small issue with a wire hanging out that was pinched between the gasket and the unit..

They replaced the main board and told us about it during our walk through. Sunday 8-18-19 about noon we were packing and getting ready for a trip. Same AC quit working. We delivered it to the dealership by 4pm that Sunday and got a call from the tech the next day. He suspected the Control board/thermostat issue. I said we have 10 days to our trip. I just want this repaired right. Saturday 8-24-19 They still had not even looked at it. That afternoon the came back saying it was not the thermostat. Not sure what it is. Sunday 8-25-19, My question is... is there an ongoing problem with these? Could it be a bad compressor motor or capacitor on the motor shorting this out? Maybe a service bulletin put out? Frustrated. We paid A LOT for this thing to go on a trip that begins in 4 days, Thursday 8-29-19. No not Jayco's fault, but frustrating that it sat for a week untouched and now scratching heads.

Has anyone had the rear unit go out and if so what was it and what fixed it? Not starting a bashing thread, Want to know what may be going on and how to fix this.

Man that setup look good, I just keep coming back over and over again, do you mind if we trade? Lol.

Maiden voyage went great. Relaxing. Trout fishing and a bit more relaxing. 5 days out boon-docking.
Was a 5 hour trip in the White Mountains and Salt River Canyon. 80 gallons of fresh water on board for a one time trip full loaded and yes this truck AND THE HITCH handled it just fine. Had to know that I could bug out if ever needed and full load for days on end trip. And yes this trip was zero hookups. Took our small generator, Briggs and Stratton P3000, and 1X 5 gallon gas can. Evenings got down in the low 60's days in the upper 80's. Cooked inside and outside. And YES, I could relax if I were ever on caught in bad weather or natural mishap and had to bug out.

Fishing was great. Limit every day on Apache and Brown Trout. And was done fishing and relaxing with a coffee before the wife woke up.

Question for 321 types.. actually an odd question given it’s 100 degrees. Anyway, in the past, I’ve winterized with compressed air. Today I was looking at the wet bay panel, and cannot figure out how to bypass the hot water heater for doing this. I see one configuration for pulling antifreeze through the pump. That’s the only one that maybe kinda makes sense for this. In the past though, I never applied air pressure to my water pump. Just ran it to make sure it was dry.

Also, have you guys had your front cap LED’s come out of the track. On both sides, I noticed mine were coming out a little. I just put them back in. Hope they don’t wander.

Check your owners manual about how to winterize with compressed air. It tells you to put the 4 valves at 45 degrees or they say you can damage the valves. I did this them I close them back to city water and blow out my residential fridge. I keep the pressure at 30 psi. Don’t forget your low point drain valves also.

And here I thought the owners manual was useless. I’ll have to take a look. Thanks.

Agree but was shocked to find this. Look in section 8. It actually has a picture of the valves at 45 degrees.

It is on page 124 if you haven’t found it. Still not crystal clear but it is helpful. I don’t understand why putting 30 psi of air into the water inlet would damage any valves. I have done it that way for years.

I think they are sensitive. Example.... with my HT, and full city water regulated pressure, I could switch back and forth from city water to tank fill. Probably one big valve. With this unit, I tried that and it wasn’t happy. I went from city water straight to tank fill configuration and it locked up. Maybe small valves or something else limiting to where it doesn’t liken higher pressure with valves in transition. Hence the pressure limit at a 45 degree valve position.

When you put the valve to winterzine you bybass the water heater.

My front cap LED strips did start to pull out on day 1. Got out the 8 foot ladder, Calk gun and a tube of pure clear silicone. VERY LIGHT bead inside the track and is now staying in place. Not a long full length bead, just a dash every 6 inches or so. But did make sure to get the ends where it started to pull out.
