2019 Jayco North Point 383fkws

I just bought this rig and was wondering if anyone has any issues, concerns or positive things to say about the north point rigs. Also has anybody stayed in really cold weather in one?

We just bought a 2019 383FKWS and love it...been in it for a week running it through the ringer - 30 deg weather...using heated water hose - seems to work fine...we used electric ceramic heater in bed room and ran gas heater at 67deg and was warm. Only prob we have is bed slide doesn’t seal at top when open - but I think its because the slide awning is to tight not enough slack to let the top open all the way...but checking in that this week. TP

First trip

We finally picked up the Rv last week. On day 2 of our first trip. Heading to Montana. 28 today. Had a problem this evening. Got to our first campground and slide out 1 got stuck. I had to go inside and rock it back and forth to get it to move and finally extend. I had a problem with it before we left and let the dealership know. The slide apparently has two Motors with this design and they told me they can not get them to sync exactly the same so it’s causing it to bind. I was told there is not much they can do with it until I have a complete failure and then they will replace them.

Thanks for your input. Do you have the JayCommand system?

2020 North Point 383FKWS. Just arrived from the factory a week ago. Did not even sit on the lot.

I know to expect problems. I hope it does not completely fail before we get home.

Your dealer's an idiot....... Here's how you sync them. If that doesn't work they should have ordered a new control module.

We have a 2019 383FKWS, purchased in September and have 30 nights and probably 5000 miles towed with no real issues except a squeaky stair into the kitchen and a broken window. The stair is being fixed and the window wasn't a Jayco issue. Very happy with this rig.
