2019 Modern Farmhouse interior?
Found a listing for a 2019 Eagle 5th wheel with what appears to include pictures of the new Modern Farmhouse interior.

So "new" Farmhouse is the old White cabinets, actually much more traditional than the dark cabinets.. I've always said there is nothing new in cabinets, square or arched doors, flat panel or raised and 10,000 different finishes...wonder when they will put shiplap on the walls

WHO is designing these things for frig's sacks? Why are we trying to take trendy and fancy modern styling out into the bush? Show me a lodge style design or a rustic cabin feel on wheels and then we'll be talking. How about a factory installed gun rack?

They actually refer to the fireplace surround as shiplap! lol

They way they were talking at the factory tour last week it sounded like everything was getting lighter starting in 2019 models. I took it to mean interior flooring, trim and so on. I thought he said something about white oak. But that modern farmhouse is definitely not for me.

There is always the "ice castle" rv/ice fishing house. Thread hijack over.

My trailer was off-line April 18th. I triple checked with dealer to make sure I got my peppercorn interior. Still waiting on a back ordered interior door before they will ship.

2019 Modern Farmhouse interior?
I always thought the dark woods(while great for hiding dirty hands) were horrible inside RVs. Not very many windows, dark finishes, and trying to conserve power makes for a dimly lit cave.
However, this is a no frikkin way.

They have also eliminated the outside vent on the range. No overhead vent has been added on the roof either. You now have ne way to exhaust cooking fumes or heat out of the RV.

Ahahaha, so we ordered one of those nasty white farmhouse interiors. The wife was digging it, but I totally see where some of you guys are coming from. It could have been done much better. But I think it looks pretty decent in person, lightens everything up inside and for full timing it feels more like a home to me. The couches and recliners are killing me. They're a different type than the standard, look less comfy. Heres some stock photos of the farmhouse and traditional.

Our first unit an Outback was white, but the whole interior matched. BR, Bath and BH all were white cabinets. The plus side is the brightness.
What I don't really like is the mixed woods that they are doing. One side of the room is one color, turn around and it's another. Trailers are just too small to mix it up in IMHO.
Agree with the other post on a rustic cabin interior option. That would interest me.

Yes, me too. I cannot stand what Jayco did in 2018 with the mixing of interior "woods," if we can call them wood. I also still cannot stand what they did to the Feather and White Hawk exteriors, especially the White Hawk. It used to have a classy edge over the Feather in its color and graphics. Personally, and this is all personal for all of us, I do not like what I am seeing from Jayco in 2018 and 2019 on a number of fronts, design, style, and build.

Would really like to know who the designers/manufacturers talk to when designing/outfitting the units OR taking into consideration that people travel with pets (dogs or cats). DW would prefer lighter woods (not white though), lighter furniture colors. She does like the floor without carpeting.
In our current unit, she would prefer the downstairs bathroom have been made into more storage/pantry since we don't travel with others - we do travel with 3 cats. We use it now as storage but the toilet is in the way. She likes the larger bathroom upstairs which is where the Litter Robot is located. And it sure would have been nice to have a way to open/close the fan in the front bathroom like the downstairs bathroom (DW is short). When designing for a king size bed, make the bedroom a bit larger for one to walk around the bed.
And she hates the couch - not the easiest thing to open since 1 cat likes to hide under it, especially when we are getting ready to leave or we have visitors. At least he can't get under the bed like he could the previous unit.

We ordered one also! Supposed to have been in end of may, then mid June now July!
I like the lightness ( from pictures) but wish they didn’t mix colors in the main area. We wonder how the couch and theater seat will be comfort wise.
