2019 pin box upgrade?

Hi guys, I am in question about replacing the standard pin box on my 2019 Eagle HT 28.5 RSTS. TV is a 2017 Ford F250 short bed and I will be installing a fixed B&W Companion as a purchase bonus. I am questioning if I will have enough clearance with my 6 3/4 bed and am throwing the idea around of a 5th airborne or MoeRyde orbital but in the 2019 owners manual it stated the pin box is not interchangeable. Is that truly the case? I am guessing they wouldn't say that if that meant it. I am not trying to void a warranty in any way. I know where this will go but I really don't want a slider and my only second hitch choice would be an Andersen but I feel like with the couple to the rear I would be in the same boat as a fixed hitch.
