2019 pinnicle 36SSWS Bathroom Fan Question

Does anyone know how to make the bathroom fan work by just using the wall switch. Also will the door open by the switch or
Do I have to reach up every time and manually open it ?

We have the MaxAir fan as stock and have to reach for the ceiling to open it. The fan is supposed to turn on by the wall switch but Jayco flubbed the install and there is a service bulletin on it. We have to turn on the wall switch AND reach for the button on the fan. Joan is shorter and can barely reach, but for the cost of the remote control version, she decided to exercise her tippy toes.

We are having the wall switched fixed next week when we drop off the house for crack repair.

Apparently Jayco has installed different fans on the same model year rigs. AKRUEBBE for example did not get the MaxAir in his Pinnacle.

Don't know what one ours is. But I have to do the same as you and reach for it to both open the door and turn fan on. Oh well next time I have to get work done I will get them to fix this also. Thanks for your help.

For your reference...
