2020 jayco pinnacle

Heat pump air conditioners 2020 5th wheel. Air blowing fine but no cool air in living area.
The bedroom is good and cold! I wonder if anyone has ideas to troubleshoot the problem. The storage garage is cooling under the bedroom? Our Altoona/Des Moines dealer is having trouble keeping service techs. Hope I can fix.

Do not intend this to be condescending, but is the thermostat set to Cooling and not Fan?

Ok. I always start from the simplest possible problem.

How about temp settings? The bedroom A/C keeping the camper cool enough to not engage the living room A/C?

I would say no. The living area is 89 degrees and I can hear the fan running. The bedroom is 74 and it is helping keep the l.r. at 89.

I had a similar problem on my 2020 Eagle FBOK. My unit has two AC units but only one working. The main AC cooling the living area was not working. Turns out there was no power going to the unit. Bad breaker. Replaced the breaker and all good now.

Thanks everyone! I can hear it trying to kick on to no avail. Who would I call to check breaker? I am doubtful the dealer can get this done before our trip to Grand Marais, Mn. North shore.

Are you saying there is cool air blowing out of the register in the basement? That register in the basement is only activated by the furnace and has nothing to do with the AC units.

I can feel the storage area is cool. Likely from the bedroom?

Yep, happens frequently with the Heat Pump units. We went through 2. Don't know why AirXcel continues to have that issue.

Sounds like high pressure switch tripped and "lock out" preventing compressor from restarting or running. Will be back to Jayco selling dealer in Altoona .

I did check breaker. It seems functional since the fan for the a/c on that thread seems to be one and the same and I can hear the a/c trying to kick on.
